Program Assessment
Program assessment at Escuela is curriculum-based. Writing, reading, math, language and content tasks are defined by each grade level and evaluated through work samples, rubrics and self-evaluation of progress.
In addition, Escuela de Guadalupe uses two nationally standardized testing programs for its unique dual-language program.
These evaluation methodologies, MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) in English and Aprenda in Spanish (equivalent of Stanford Achievement Test), complement already established methods and evaluate reading, writing and math.
Escuela de Guadalupe uses the MAP to CSAP correlative metric developed by the Northwest Evaluation Association to correlate its testing data to the CSAP. Click Here to see Escuela's current testing outcomes.
Program Outcomes
The key measure of success for Escuela de Guadalupe is the level of preparedness of its graduates for quality middle school programs. Its ultimate measure of success will be the number of graduates who become high school graduates. Our mission: to produce leaders for the world of tomorrow.
Escuela's unique Graduate Support Program has already successfully placed graduates in some of the most competitive middle school and high school programs in metropolitan Denver.
